Artificial intelligence is a focal point of the AID4GREENEST project. Rina Jaeken from ePotentia attended the AI MSE 2023 Congress where she presented a poster titled ‘Artificial Intelligence for the Materials Industry (AI4MI): An Open Online Course Using Open Data.’
On November 22nd the European Commission held a workshop to help shape new Research and Innovation (R&I) policy activities in virtual worlds and Web 4.0.
One of the objectives of the AID4GREENEST project is to contribute significantly to decarbonise the steelmaking industry. The AI-powered models and tools developed in the project will enable the reduction of carbon emissions related to R&D activities and quality control in the steel sector.
The AID4GREENEST project has celebrated its official kick off meeting earlier this week at Spain’s IMDEA Materials Institute. All 10 of the project partners were in attendance at the event, marking the first time that the many researchers, industry experts and consultants behind the ambitious project have had the opportunity to meet under one roof.
Enhanced material quality, the reduction of carbon emissions and waste generation, and reduced risks to the supply of critical raw materials. These are the three principal objectives of AID4GREENEST.
