👩‍💻 In September, AID4GREENEST researcher, Dr. Christina Schenk took part in the Congress on Numerical Methods in Engineering (CMN2024) at the Universidade de Aveiro in Portugal.

The presentation, entitled ACBICI – A Library for the Calibration of Complex and Expensive Models, focused on the possibilities for using bayesian calibration in the modelling steel creep behaviour.

The conclusions reached were the work of Dr. Schenk in collaboration with several AID4GREENEST researchers including Prof. Ignacio Romero and Dr. Ilchat Sabirov from IMDEA Materials and Prof. Anne-Marie Habraken and researchers Dr. Fan Chen and Carlos Rojas Ulloa from the University of Liège.
