Reinosa Forgings & Castings is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of large forgings and castings. Our more than one hundred years of experience and growth have allowed us to accumulate knowledge inherited generation after generation through tradition, developing a high know-how and technological level. We provide the best solutions by providing an integral service, from scrap to the final machined product, and our high standards of quality and service.
We export to more than 50 countries in the most demanding markets and sectors such as shipbuilding, mining and cement, heavy machinery, power generation, oil & gas, engines, steel and military.
Carlos holds a Mining engineering degree, with specialization in Materials science and processing. He also holds an MSc by Research about thermal radiative properties of steel. His background is mainly related to steelmaking, having worked both for an EAF and BF-based steel plants, always in a research-related role. There, he has led projects and activities about sensoring, metallurgical modelling, through-process product characterization and laboratory replication of industrial processes.
Javier Cordon has a degree in Physics and a PhD in Materials Science. Started his carrier in the steel industry as a researcher in steel production and metal working processes. Having a wide experience on Product Quality Planning, Non-Destructive testing, mechanical testing, and FEM simulation of casting and forging products and processes.
