Ghent University researcher Sepideh Khalatabad has highlighted AID4GREENEST’s role in the development of AI-powered characterisation and modelling for green steel technology at the annual VSC | Vlaams Supercomputer Centrum Users Day 2024 in Brussels, Belgium.

This year’s VSC Users Day, which took place on Tuesday, was centred on the transformative power of AI in research.

Sepideh is one of the newest members of AID4GREENEST as part of the University of Ghent team. As part of her doctoral research, and her work on the project, she is designing and implementing AI-driven platforms to manage and standardise data efficiently.

This supports the project’s goal of enhancing material quality and promoting sustainable manufacturing practices.
