ePotentia’s Dr. Michael Sluydts showcased how generative AI is revolutionising materials dataset completion, as part of the company’s research within the HorizonEurope AID4GREENEST project.

Dr. Sluydts was highlighted as an Emerging Pioneer at Tuesday’s ‘What’s Next’ MateriNex event in Antwerp, Belgium, where he participated in a fascinating session on innovative AI solutions for the materials industry.

Key highlights from the presentation included how AI can help us rapidly sort historical data, even without labels, where real data is rare, how generative AI can fill the gaps, and dealing with today’s reality, where real and fake data are quickly becoming indistinguishable

Together, these tools and expertise are helping ePotentia prepare datasets for MicrostructureDB, an open data platform for microscopy, which you can find at: https://microstructuredb.com/
